About
Hi! I’m Joline, a twenty-something fiberphile from beautiful British Columbia, Canada.
I share a house with my wonderful boyfriend, our dog (Zoe) and 2 cats (Oliver and Myau). I spend my time teaching guitar lessons, knitting, spinning, painting, singing, and exploring the world around me. I love anything that allows me to express myself creatively, and I especially enjoy discovering common elements that connect various art forms and crafts.
This blog is a place to share the things that excite me! I am a firm believer that you should never reach a point in your life where you stop learning. I’m constantly getting turned on to new ideas and always on the lookout for things that helps me discover more about who I am and what I want my life to be about.
I also sell my handknit accessories and handspun yarns on Etsy in my shop, Black Mustard Fiber Arts. I love Etsy and the Handmade Movement! I use wool from well-treated animals on local farms in my spinning and knitting as much as possible, because it’s so much better to use yarn from happy sheep!
