This week I was excited to introduce my newest style of hand knit fingerless gloves. “Branching Out” features a striking lace branch pattern in Superwash Merino. I’m really happy with the design of these gloves, and despite the holey appearance of the lace they’re surprisingly warm. I was so excited to see my baby alpaca drop stitch scarf on the Front Page of Etsy tonight! I just happened to notice that the page had changed when I logged in and then I thought, “Wait a sec! I recognize that scarf!” It was so much fun to watch my views sky rocket while I worked on my new listing, and I got quite a few new hearts as well. I’ve been on the front page 3 times in the last 2 weeks in admin-curated collections. I don’t know why the sudden attention but it feels pretty good!
“Wavelength” hand knit beret in Stone grey
I’ve been busy knitting up new stock for my Etsy shop over the last few weeks. I’ve had lots of ideas and, luckily, time to sit down and bring them to life. The challenge has been finding time to photograph them, so I was thrilled to spend some time with Isis on Saturday down in Gastown. I couldn’t be happier with the results of our shoot. This week I’ve added more colors of my Baby Alpaca drop stitch scarf, and a couple of slouchy berets that I’m really excited about. Look for more to come soon in a few different styles! We also photographed some fingerless gloves in a brand new style, which will be listed in the shop over the next few days.
