My olive green Baby Alpaca/Kid Mohair lace shawl was on the front page of Etsy today, in an admin-curated collection. Exciting! I didn’t get to see it, but just happened to look at the front page screen shots group on Flickr and saw it there. What a nice surprise, and I really love the color palette. Thanks, admin!
In Touch Clutch ™ in Folklore Gray and Orange
This week’s Etsy Monday featured seller is Jennifer of Downstairs Designs. I first discovered her work when I was searching for a case for my ipod, and I was so impressed with the quality and design of her pieces that I just had to share! I’m also in love with her “In Touch Clutch ™” – a stationery organizer that I suspect I have a need for.
Jennifer was kind enough to answer some questions about her work, her life and her inspiration. I really enjoyed reading what she had to say, and I hope you do too!
Last Saturday I spent the day with my brother driving up to Whistler and back. There was a huge sale going on at a ski and snowboard shop and he wanted to get a bunch of snowboarding gear. Parking was a nightmare due to the sale, so I dropped him off out front and parked farther away. While he was at the sale I went for a walk, taking my new camera out for a test drive! I thought I’d share some of the pictures I took on my walk and on the drive home.

I finally got a chance to make a treasury on Etsy. These items have been patiently waiting in Poster Sketch for over a week and I keep just missing the Treasury opening. I finally got to make it last night… show some love to the featured sellers!
